I haven't been feeling really inspired to draw. It's not that I have an art block...I just...don't feel like drawing

Hey guys!

I'm back from camping, and wow, what an experience XD. I don't expect you to read all of this, it's mainly for my reference of memories, but you ARE welcome to comment or something on it XD (yes, you may ask questions too)

1st Day

So the first day, we were supposed to meet up at a friends house at 4:30 and hopefully be on our way to Grand Bend around 5pm...BUT, we ended up having to go back to somebody else's house to pick up their stuff and them. A couple hours of fumbling later, we head off for Grand Bend at around 6:30 XD. The road trip was fairly uneventful, other than listening to some great tunes and driving past our campsite -__-.

So when we got there, we had to quickly throw up our tents before it got dark (A bunch of us n00b campers were worried about pitching tents in the dark), but we managed to get them all set up before sunset.

That evening, we made hotdogs and smores over the fire. I burnt my hotdog T_T...twice XD *loser*. My marshmallow fell into the fire so I just stole one from my friend.

That night...OMFG.
IT RAINED. SO HARD. PLUS LIGHTNING AND THUNDER.

...

I didn't care about that, what I cared about was: OUR TENT WASN'T 100% WATERPROOF WTFWTF. At around like...3am there was a puddle of water at the door of our tent. I woke my boyfriend up and we were both like: HOLYSHITWTF. Fortunately I had a beach towel with me so we shoved it against the door to try to stop the water from pouring in. The towel was SOAKED in the next 5 minutes. So I didn't get any sleep that night, my boyfriend fell asleep after like..20 minutes XD. It was freezing, wet and uncomfortable.

Second Day

While I was still awake from the fact that I didn't get any sleep, I heard some of my friends from other tents walking around outside, so I wanted to scramble out of my tent to go see if their tents were dry (So I could just live in theirs XD). Unfortunately, by the time I scrambled out of my tent, they were all back in theirs and quiet. I went back into mine, still cold and soaking and I tried really hard to sleep, and eventually it was around 9am when everybody was awake.

I figured out that my tent got the worst of the rain and water but everybody's got pretty wet as well. We went up to my boyfriend's grandparents house (we were borrowing their backyard on their farm as a campsite) so we could all shower and warm up. After my shower though, I was sitting on a couch with a friend waiting for lunch, and next thing I knew, I woke up on the couch with a pillow a blanket and my boyfriend cuddling me for some reason-- I fell asleep on the couch. FOR AN HOUR XD.

I had my lunch, then we all decided to go into the town and the beach to spend the day there. I was sunbathing with a friend (and got a slight burn on my face and arms, but I tanned XD) meanwhile most of the guys were in the water. After the beach we all went to get some icecream <3. We mini-putted after...but since I didn't have my Lucky Tiger Woods hat, I epic failed at mini-putting this time, when usually I'm pretty decent. Afterwards, we went to a restaurant for dinner~ I had a Lam-burger XD... It was amazingly good, but sadly they like...chucked the entire herb shelf onto it.

When we got back to the campsite, my boyfriend's parents came by to give us another tent (it was identical to one that was already set up) so we quickly set that one up and got rid of the old tent. The new tent was much bigger and it was actually waterproof.

That night, most of the guys were playing drinking games (With beer and Sake XDD)in the huge, 6 person tent. Aince I don't drink, I stayed out by the campfire watching the stars with the people who weren't playing drinking games either. After maybe an hour of sitting at the fire, it was starting to get chilly, so I went up to the house with my friend to brush our teeth. When we got back, my boyfriend was at the campfire looking for me because he got bored of watching the people play drinking games (he doesn't like beer). I was still pretty sleepy from the night before so my boyfriend and I just ended up going to sleep at like...11 XD.

I woke up randomly at around midnight to find out that the drinking game people and a small amount of the non-drinkers were still at the fire playing Taboo. I was also really cold that night but I successfully managed to steal some body heat from my boyfriend XD

Third Day

I woke up at around 9am feeling relatively refreshed in the new tent~

I wandered outside to find out that most people were awake already and popped into my friends' tent to join them for breakfast.

For the rest of the morning, in the breakfast tent, we were all playing Ouendan (the Japanese version of Elite Beat Agents) on the DSlite while the rest of the guys were packing tents and things.

Note: I must say, Ouendan has WAY better music than Elite Beat Agents

After packing (which took obnoxiously long for some reason) we went up to the house and randomly decided to watch the UEFA Cup Final which started at like...freaking 2:45pm. A bunch of us were hungry so we had chips. For lunch.

We took a group photo after getting kicked out of the house, and then we finally were headed back home. We stopped at a McDonalds for some REAL food, followed by getting back on the road.

We all made it home safely, said goodbyes and sorted everybody's things in and out of cars and finally went back to all our respective homes.

Ok I was looking through random youtube videos today (Actually looking for the Video Games Live version of Baba Yetu from Civilization IV. There were these two people arguing and one of them made the BEST fucking comeback EVER.

Hey guys~

I'm going on my first camping trip ever with a bunch of friends this coming weekend, and I'm super excited XD

Although I feel really useless in the planning because I don't own a tent or a sleeping bag T__T... oh well.

So, for those people I promised various contest entries, I probably won't be able to do them T_T...for lots of reasons, one of which being the camping trip and the other is that I'm going for a 2-week job training course sometime in July, so I won't have access to a scanner (or even my own desk) while living at my cousins house. I'll also be studying, so no random doodles for me T_T.

Not to worry anyone but, my depression is acting up again, so hopefully this camping trip will make me feel better
